Course Fees and General Course Information
About the class Whether you are a beginner or have practiced yoga before, at this class you will be able to enjoy two hours of traditional yoga as practiced by yogis of the ancient past and as described in the major yogic treaties (i.e. Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Yoga sutras of Patanjali). For every yoga exercise you will be given direct guidance and extensive theoretical background. You are welcome to ask questions and seek clarification at any point during the class.
What you need It is advisable to bring a matt or blanket, which you will use to practice on. The most suitable clothing for yoga practice is something light and preferably made of natural materials. Generally any clothing suitable for sports type activities can be used for the yoga class also. Also you may find it useful to have a pad for taking notes and a folder in which to store the handouts and any other theoretical materials that you are given at the class.
The structure of the Yoga Course The yoga course meets once a week, for a 2 hour session. Each course includes 30 minutes of theory – learning a new technique and additional information, and 90 minutes of practice in which is practiced the techniques learned so far. In this way the student can progress gradually with his/her practice.
Course Fees
Beginners Course - London, Oxford and Manchester The beginners courses are structured over 12 week periods. The fee for each 12 week stage is £90 and is to be paid within the first month of joining the course. The concession fee (for students and unemployed) is £75. The course can be joined at any time and the payment made for the remaining weeks.
Drop in available for first 4 classes at £8.00 / £6.50 (concessions) per session.
Beginners Course - Dublin 12 week course is €140 (concession €120)
Advanced Courses Monthly payment of £35 (concession £28)
N.B. Those who enroll in the Yoga Course can also enroll in the Tantra Course with a 50% discount.
