Offered by Grieg to all women within this spiritual school of yoga on the 8th of March
Women should become more aware of their role now more than ever, especially on this universal day when we celebrate the Eternal Feminine. Their role is manifested in an ineffable way within man’s creative dynamism. Those women especially, who have awakened the state of SHAKTI should make enthusiastic, sustained and adequate efforts in order to awaken in as many women as possible (and quickly) the divine nature, the Sacred Feminine which lies within them, just like the Sleeping Beauty.
More and more women should become fully aware that they have, in a potential state, in their inner universe (the microcosm of their being) all the energies, all the aspects they need to create a mysterious, profound and overwhelming connection with MAHASHAKTI. For this they need to realize and to be totally convinced that “ WHAT EXISTS IN THEIR INNER UNIVERSE, EXISTS ALSO EVERYWHERE IN THE ENTIRE MACROCOSM, AND WHAT IS NOT PRESENT IN THEIR INNER UNIVERSE, DOES NOT EXIST ANYWHERE IN THE ENTIRE MACROCOSM”.

The Sanskrit word “Tantra”, basically meaning “woven material, net” could be translated in several other ways such as “consciousness amplifier” for instance. Tantra is neither a religion – such as the term is generally understood - nor a philosophy or a mystical path based upon metaphysical concepts. Tantra is an empirical instrument of the searcher on the path to spiritual accomplishment. It is a group of practical techniques (not only erotic ones) whose success is based upon the personal experience acquired in daily life. Amplifying one’s consciousness, understood as such, includes all aspects of life and within this very frame Tantra is the only discipline generating a synthesis between the seemingly opposed dimensions of sensory pleasure and Liberation. Our very hedonist desires based upon the principle of simple and immediate satisfaction are Tantra’s dynamics generating consciousness expansion until the mystical experience is reached – thus, sexual practices turn into a vehicle of spiritual progress. As Guhyasamaja Tantra mentions, “no one can achieve Liberation only through difficult and tormenting practices; Liberation may be also achieved through conscious satisfaction of all desires.” |

Yoga and Tantra form the primary basis of Indian spirituality, and they are closely connected to universal philosophy. Many things have been written and reported about these spiritual disciplines, but due to their depth and hidden symbolism, they mostly remain unknown to the West. Being hidden along ages, Tantra remains diffuse, mysterious and enigmatic, despite occurring in many yoga techniques, particularly in Tibetan forms of yoga. At a consistent approach it unveils as an original science about man, where the cosmic powers merge with physiology, psychology, magic and spiritualism. |

Sexual continence involves a total awareness and control during lovemaking. This implies that the couple will experience complete union with the possibility of reaching many orgasms. This kind of love fusion does not end with ejaculation for men nor an explosive discharge of sexual fluids for women.
This technique is also known as coitus reservatus (refraining from ejaculation) or karezza. Both lovers, the man and the woman, have desire but totally refrain from reaching orgasm with the resulting discharging of sexual energy. The man allows orgasm with ejaculation only when both lovers plan to have a baby. This kind of sexual fusion was named by Dr. Alice Stockham “coitus reservatus” or “sublimated coitus”. The Karezza technique also recommends taking complete breaks when experiencing intense erotic pleasure. During these breaks the erectile penis should remain immobile in the woman’s vagina, while the lovers enjoy the mutual transfer of erotic energetic fluids. Dr. Stockham stated that through this technique one achieves youthfulness, longevity, and an increase in vitality. The control of sexual energy for women is often spontaneous, and only in rare cases requires minimal training. However for men this control and the halting of ejaculation for long periods (weeks, months, years) requires continuous and diligent training.
