Charity Status & Free Classes

FreeTara Yoga Centre became a charity in early 2012. As a charity, we promote education in spiritual well-being through the principals of yoga, tantra and other spiritual traditions, from both a theoretical and practical point of view.

In the Old Street area of London we provide free classes for local students and the unemployed and OAP's, offering 140 free places in day time yoga classes each week.

We also offer free lectures, open to all, on various topics from the vast domains of spirituality, health and well-being. These lectures are held  on Sunday evenings.


Proof of concessionary status must be provided, places are limited and must be booked in advance. Places are available on a 'first come, first serve' basis.

 

The hours of the free class are:
Monday to Friday  17:30 - 18:30
Saturday 10:00 - 11:00
11:00 - 12:00
