Yoga and Tantra form the primary basis of the Indian spirituality. Many things have been written about these Spiritual Traditions, but due to their depth and hidden symbolism, they remain largely unknown to the West. Being concealed along the ages, particularly Tantra remains diffuse, mysterious and enigmatic.

In this short presentation, we will introduce some essential secrets regarding the basis of the Yoga & Tantra practice and explore the link between them, and how the Hatha Yoga pracice (when approached in a certain way) is in fact a very Tantric practice. Understanding the primary keys and the original secrets of the Yoga system will allow you a deeper insight into how Yoga actually works and how you can obtain profound, long lasting benefits from this practice.

We will also explore how Tantra takes a highly distinctive approach to Spirituality which is ideally suited to modern times. In order to expand the sphere of consciousness from the finite to the infinite, Tantra teaches us to embrace the entire spectrum of life’s energies and experiences (especially using the very intense experiences that life provides), integrating all aspects of our lives in a unitary whole.

Although Tantra is not exclusively concerned with sexuality, it does recognize the sexual energy as a great gift and it teaches us to use it wisely (this aspect will also be approached as time allows). The Tantric path shows us that when we become aware of every moment, our life is transformed into an ecstatic triumph.
