A week-long celebration of yoga, surrounding International Yoga Day
18th June – 24th June 2017
Yoga United: Reaching Beyond Differences
Universal in its applications, Yoga means “Union”. It is a practice that reaches beyond differences, revealing the similarities of our souls, outside the limits of race, gender, social endeavours or religious beliefs. Yoga addresses our differences as opportunities to expand our horizons, revealing a path towards complete transformation of the human being, on all levels of manifestation.
Yoga has something to offer to everyone – from physical training and mental and emotional balance, to climbing the peaks of spiritual realisation.
International Yoga Day
International Yoga Day acknowledges and celebrates all that yoga has to offer to humanity. We invite you to celebrate with us in our Yoga Centre for a whole week of FREE yoga activities. You can enjoy:
- Traditional hatha yoga classes
- Couples asanas (yoga postures done with a partner)
- Talks and workshops about yoga
- Social events
If you have never tried Yoga before, it’s a wonderful opportunity to come and sample all the benefits of yoga in all its amazing aspects. All events will be free and open to anyone who wishes to participate. If you already practise yoga it’s a perfect opportunity to come out and meet like-minded people, share experiences and maybe try a new area or aspect of yoga you have not experienced before. Whoever you are and whatever your background we would love you to join us.
